Technology Summary
Ultrasonic vibrations created by a transducer are used to modulate a stream of water as it transforms a continuous water jet to a fully developed pulse water jet. The pulses serve to rapidly load and unload a force on the targeted surface. Depending on the application and the parameters used, these pulses can be used to strip coatings or prep the surface prior to coating.

Features Benefits & Highlights:
- VLN Advanced Technologies’ PWJ has multiple patents and is a secured technology
- System is Clean Green - no additives, chemicals or abrasives are used - just water which can be recycled and reused in most cases
- Improved performance over high-pressure water jet systems – cheaper to operate, incorporates lower operating parameters to do the same work, higher operating times, lower maintenance costs
- Exacting precision, repeatability and reliability delivered by programmable robotic manipulations
- Multidimensional system – can be operated as PWJ or a typical water blaster system when the pulse is turned off
